Raquel is a resident of Wilmington, Vermont and holds a BA in environmental policy with a minor in anthropology from Middlebury College.

As a research intern for a Vermont advocacy organization called Energy Action Network and reporter/graphic designer for her local newspaper, The Deerfield Valley News, she has experience in long-term research projects as well as fast-paced journalism. 

Raquel hopes to improve her data science and survey methodology skills to apply them to real-world issues. Building upon her experiences working and traveling in the United States and Latin America, she aspires to use storytelling and accessible research as a tool to inform climate policy and sustainable solutions, and climate justice.
